Birthday Basketball.
For my dad’s birthday, I had the idea of giving him tickets to his beloved Illini’s game. (University of Illinois) So I convinced my family to chip in and we all bought him tickets to the game this afternoon. He ended up asking 3 guys to go along. He just called and you could hear the beam in his voice. The game followed with a few rounds at Hooters. I’m so glad that he enjoyed it much more than maybe a shirt or socks. Giving experiences is fun! It’s such a nice feeling to have someone else really enjoy a gift. Happy Late Birthday Dad!
